Catarina Breia Dias (Cacém,1994). Master’s in architecture at the Lisbon School of Architecture (2018). Catarina has been working as an architect between Lisbon, Ghent and Porto. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Minho/ EAAD - Lab2PT, where she is carrying out research into Street transformations, towards a sustainable, social and mobility space: concepts and practices.
She is a member of the Future Design of Streets association - a platform that aims to disseminate and share knowledge from various contexts that explore and imagine the transformation of better street design. She also integrates a starting project LupLab - Laboratory of Local Proximity.
Catarina advocates for a social, multicultural and diverse city, a cohesive territory in the city centre, but also the outskirts, and, for new paradigms that bring out community involvement within the design process.
